Vejpoesi (2023) – Limited Edition White Vinyl
Two sides of Stephen Fearing’s live performances are showcased on Vejpoesi (Danish for "Road Poems"), his 14th album.
Side A shines a spotlight on Stephen Fearing’s longtime collaboration with the award-winning Danish indie-folk band The Sentimentals. Vejpoesi was recorded over two days in the Maskinhallen Theatre, in an old electricity generating station in Frederikshavn, Denmark.
Stephen Fearing and The Sentimentals have developed a distinctive sound that blends tradition and experimentation into captivating performances. Their dynamic partnership began in 2018 and has been lighting up stages across Europe and Canada.
On the flip side, Stephen Fearing performs solo at The Mule Spinner, a repurposed industrial building at the heart of the old cotton factory in Hamilton, Ontario. This intimate show highlights the songs, finger-picking guitar, and voice that weave stories and hold audiences spellbound. Recorded by Bob Lanois.
